September 24th, 2023 – Sunday “Beer Dance” feat. Hommage

This accomplished swing dance band is all you need for a great afternoon. Come down and dance on HOMMAGE like there is no tomorrow!

“HOMMAGE brings a tribute to the classic swing music of the 1920s, 30s and 40s. Some of Holland’s finest musicians with decades of experience bringing you the hottest music to dance on and listen to.
The tremendous rhythm section makes your feet jumpin’ from the start and the horn section provide you with wonderful melodies, heavily cooking solos and great vocal work. The band is featuring music from composers such as Sidney Bechet, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Fast Waller.”

About De Prael: This trendy brewery sits right on the water and offers up locally made beers and fresh food. Best of all, it has a wooden floor just right for dancing!

There will be a Lindy Hop Workshop from 2:00 to 2:45 PM by Marc & Anne. The theme is to be announced but as basic knowledge of Lindy Hop is advisable. The entry includes both the workshop and the dance, or simply the dance if you chose not to take the workshop.

Everyone is welcome, no partner or experience necessary!
