If you’ve ever seen sandpipers sprinting across the Dutch coastline — 🐦💨 tiny birds with hilariously fast feet — you already know the spirit behind this event: Fast, joyful, musical, and impossible not to smile at!
And now… we’re bringing that sandpiper energy to the dance floor!

We start every edition with…
👟 A playful taster class from 19:30–20:15 by our wonderful local teachers Rosalyn and Joeri.
A perfect warm-up for both newcomers and experienced dancers — no partner needed.

Then the band takes over, and the dance floor becomes your stage to glide, shuffle, and sparkle like a sandpiper outrunning a wave.

The Band
The Fidgety FAST Feetwarmers are a group of young, highly talented swing musicians from Amsterdam with one clear mission: to get everyone dancing until they’re completely out of breath!
Band leader, trumpeter and vocalist Coos Zwagerman (known from projects such as Gumbo Night, Roaring Cats, Swellingtons Splendid Six and Bernard Berkhout) has brought together a pack of young guns — this time as a trio — fresh from the conservatory. He has forged their youthful energy into a tight, swinging unit that fills dance floors wherever they play.
